Growing up so fast! And so cute still!!

Here are some new pictures of Peyton at 2 -2 1/2 months. He is sure growing a lot and has finally grown out of newborn clothing. He is sleeping very well at night - sometimes 7 hours in a row!!! But usually it is 4-5 hours. He loves being up on our shoulder looking back at everything and he is able to hold his head really well - he is so cute!!! The acid reflux medicine hasn't really helped his spitting up/vomiting but it doesn't seem to hurt him as much - we are going to see if there is anything else we can try. I feel like I am finally getting the hang of things and it has been quite an adjustment for me being a stay-at-home mom but it is much better now - it is amazing to me how hard it is to keep up with housework - I try to sleep when he sleeps and when I put him down to "play" I want to play with him and holding him I can't get much done!! It makes me appreciate my mom and other stay-at-home moms so much more!!! We just love him so much and it is especially so much more fun now that he does more and smiles and laughs - he thinks whistling is funny and usually smiles and laughs when I whistle! We are doing very well and it was tough moving to Springville but we have seen great blessings in our lives since and know that the Lord knows our struggles and blesses us for being faithful and trying.

It is amazing to me how much newborn heads grow!!! His head is small compared to others his age but it still is so much bigger than when he was born especially compared to his body growth since he was born. His thighs have gotten pretty chunky but the rest of his body is still skinny.

Sometimes after I take off his spit-up clothes off, I just leave them off because I get frustrated because the clean new clothes often immediately get dirty. He loves to sit in this bouncy chair and kick the toys hanging down (they are off on the side in this picture). There's a giraffe that he just stares at and then kicks feriously at - it is quite funny and cute!
