Peyton "Big Brother" Pyeatt

Peyton is doing AMAZING with the adjustment to Luke! Really, nothing has changed and if anything, he might even be better! The first 2 weeks Stephen was home and/or my mom was here so he got plenty of attention but the times when it is just him, me and Luke, Peyton doesn't seem to be bothered by the time that Luke takes. Of course I try not to always put Luke first but he does have to eat a lot and just likes to be held. Most the time at first, Peyton just ignored Luke but he now is more aware of Luke and asks where he's at. Peyton tries to help put Luke's binkie in when he is crying but at first Peyton would try once but because Luke would be crying and moving his arms all around, Peyton would just set it by Luke and run away -I think he was a little scared of Luke crying and moving so wildly! It was pretty funny!

Peyton is so so cute with Luke and so soft and gentle. He likes to kiss Luke and name his body parts. Peyton was concerned about Luke's umbilical cord and would always want to see it and call it an owie (I don't know how to spell the word) and make a sad face. The first couple days, Peyton would take Luke's binkie and run away with it in his mouth! I think Peyton really likes his little brother and I am so happy about it and excited for when Luke interacts more!

Cute Peyton in the bath! Tonight Peyton wanted Luke to take a bath with him - I had to explain why Luke couldn't!


I don't know if I have posted this picture but here's little Peyton matching his daddy for church! Peyton LOVES his daddy and is such a daddy's boy!


Peyton eating popcorn one movie night - he's so cute!


Peyton doesn't fall asleep many places other than the car or his bed but occassionally he does fall asleep eating!
