Peyton Stephen Pyeatt

Peyton came 3 weeks and 3 days early but I guess he was ready and he didn't have any problems from being a bit early. He was born Saturday April 19th, 2008 in Layton, UT at 8:46pm. He was 6 lbs 12 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. I couldn't have had a more perfect and easy labor and delivery! My water broke at home and I went to the hospital and found out I was almost 5 cm dilated and having contractions minutes apart but I couldn't feel them. Four hours later Peyton was born!! He is now 5 weeks old and finally I feel like I am adjusting although he still doesn't sleep very well at night ( 2 hours in a row at most) but he is a good baby and doesn't cry much and calms down quickly. He got thrush (a infection in his mouth) at about 1 1/2 weeks and that has made his a little irritable at times. Things are going well and we are getting ready to move to Springville, UT next week where Stephen will start graduate school in June and then teaching high school in August. It is starting to be fun having Peyton because he is starting to be somewhat interactive and awake and alert more - he is adorable and so cute!!
